Che mangino macarons!

Il mio film preferito? Marie Antoinette di Sofia Coppola. Da quando ho visto quel film, ho sviluppato una vera e propria ossessione per Maria Antonietta, che mi ha portato a leggere tutto i libri che parlano di lei e ad adorare tutto ciò che la riguarda. Ho realizzato questa collezione di Petites Patisseries pensando alla mie dolce eroina. Ogni pasticcino è curato nel minimo dettaglio e anche le alzatine sono state realizzate da me!

My favorite movie? Marie Antoinette by Sofia Coppola. Since I first saw it I developed a real obsession for Marie Antoinette: I read every books based on her history and I started to adore anything connected to her. I made this collection of Petits Patisseries thinking about my sweet heroin. Every single pastry is made paying attention to all the details, even the smallest ones, and the cakestands are all handmade.

PINK IS A STATE OF MIND

Come avrete immaginato, il mio colore preferito è il rosa, per questo ho deciso di dedicare l'ultimo giorno di lavoro ad una collezione esclusivamente e assolutamente pink & girlish. Questi tavoli e questi piccoli set sarebbero perfetti per il complenno di una piccola principessa! Variando un pochino il tema, ho preparato anche due preparation boards dei cupcakes. Anche tutte le alzatine, i centrini ed i libri sono stati realizzati da me.

As you might have guessed, pink is my favorite color, that’s why I decided to dedicate my last day of work to a collection which is absolutely and exclusively pink & girlish. These tables and little sets would make a perfect little princess’s birthday party. With a little variation on this theme, I also made cupcakes’ preparation boards. All the cakestands, the laces and the books are entirely handmade!

CRAZY FOR SUSHI!

Il sushi è uno dei primi soggetti che abbia realizzato da quando ho iniziato a creare miniature. Sarà perchè lo adoro e lo mangio spesso, anche una volta a settimana quando posso! Tuttavia questa è la prima volta che lo realizzo in scala 1:12...il risultato è simile, ma molto, molto più piccolo! A Miniaturitalia troverete anche collane, anelli ed orecchini con il sushi!

Sushi is one of the first subjects I’ve ever realized since I started making miniatures, maybe because I absolutely love it and eat it really often (once a week if I can)! But this is the first time I realized it in 1:12 scale…the result is similar to the original one, only a lot smaller! At Miniaturitalia you’ll also find sushi as necklaces, rings and earrings!

Se come me vi siete svegliate, avete aperto la finestra e trovato la vostra città sotto una coltre di neve (nel mio caso si tratta di Roma, e lo spettacolo è davvero surreale), perchè non concedervi una colazione a letto? In una giornata così fredda, non c'è colazione migliore dell'english breakfast...eccola in versione mini! Buona colazione a tutte, a chi può stare a letto e a chi purtroppo è costretto a lavorare!

If you woke up this morning just to find the town covered with snow (in my case it's Rome...an unreal show!) why don't you spoil yourself with a good breakfast in bed? With such a cold day nothing's better than english breakfast...here you have it in tiny version! Happy breakfast everybody, to those who can lay in bed and to those who unfortunately have to work even today!

CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES ♥ preparation board

La preparation board dei chocolate chip cookies è un soggetto molto comune, realizzato da tutti i miniaturisti e poco personalizzabile, in quanto gli ingedienti sono pochi e semplici: farina, zucchero, uova, burro e cioccolato. Per questo motivo ho deciso di personalizzare la mia opera con un libricino di ricette, anch'esso realizzato da me. Il libricino ha paginette di carta che si possono sfogliare, e l'effetto d'insieme è davvero carino!

Chocolate chip cookies preparation board is a very common subject, all the miniaturists have made it and it is not really easy to be personalized, as the ingredients are just a few and very common as well: flour, sugar, eggs, butter and chocolate. This is the reason why I’ve took the decision to personalize my work with a little book of recipes, which is handmade, of course. It has tiny paper pages that can be turned for real, and the final effect is really lovely!

APPLE PIE ♥ preparation board

La preparation board della torta di mele è la prima miniatura in scala 1:12 che abbia realizzato, circa due anni fa. Per questo motivo ho dedicato un'attenzione particolare alla realizzazione di questo soggetto, che adoro. Ho preparato un tavolo e due piccoli taglieri (che misurano 6x4 cm)...credo che siano il mio lavoro più riuscito!

Apple pie preparation board is the first 1:12 scale miniature I have made, about two years ago.

I really love apple pie and for this reason  I have payed a particular attention to this kind of miniature.

So, I have created a kitchen table and two little chopping boards (they are 6x4 cm)...I think they represent the best work I have ever made!

CREPES PARTY!

Nel weekend ho realizzato anche queste piccole preparation boards (il tagliere misura 6x4 cm) e un paio di piattini con crepes e marmellata. La piccola frusta è stato un ottimo acquisto, la trovo adorabile!

During the weekend I’ve made these little preparation boards (the board is 6x4 cm) and a couple of small plates with crepes and jam. The little whisk is a really good purchase, I find it adorable!
